Poladroids are an emerging Adelaide band that either make you mosh, rave or however you want to move your body! They’re a hybrid electronic-rock band that dabble in other genres from R&B, electro, and indie post-rock styles. As an instrumental band, they challenge themselves by collaborating with a range of different vocalists to maintain diversity in their repertoire and to create exposure for all local artists involved. Not only do they possess a retro and futuristic band name, their sound of new and old are mixed with 70s and 80s analog synthesizers, digital samplers and iPad apps, most of which are sequenced via midi. But rather than just using electronic hardware (“instruments with no soul”), they have the best of both worlds by blending it with live drumming, guitars and even saxophone for that traditional human touch! So better get your dancing shoes ‘cause they will keep your body moving! Poladroids are set to release their debut single and music video in 2018.
