Nelipot, arguably one of the Central Coast’s most promising independent emerging bands, is comprised of Jordan, Jordyn, & Ben. Beginning with no initial direction, the lads began as buskers on the seaside streets of Terrigal and fumbled their way onto Sydney stages. Falling absolutely in love with the rawness & the pace of the music scene, they soon went onto play shows across the east-coast, supporting exploding national and international acts, such as; Kingswood, Luca Brasi, The Orwells (USA), Ocean Alley, The Jungle Giants, and Alpine. 'Hudson Lane' is the bands latest offering and has already garnered massive support from some of Australia's most popular industry publications as well as popular indie radio stations, such as; Tone Deaf, Triple J, and Triple J Unearthed. ‘Hudson Lane’ is not a critique or a celebration, but a poetised, satirical observation of wasted youth. Tongue-in-cheek, the song pays homage to the literal (and far too familiar) alleyways & gutters that play host to people throughout the night. This new track, musically, draws heavy influence from a compilation of the bands favourite English artists, from Electric Light Orchestra, to Florence + the Machine, to the Arctic Monkeys. "...the band combine the kind of building, indie synths you’d find in your favourite Foals song with Brit-pop-inspired vocals. Hudson Lane feels instantly familiar; we’ll be keeping a close eye (or ear) on this talented group" - Stack Magazine "...your sound is absolutely infectious in all the right ways! So pure and wonderful, and the brit rock element is an absolute winner! The vocals in this track are outta this world" - SYN 90.7 "I'll see your Arctic Monkeys and raise you a Nelipot. They're brit-pop out of our own backyard!" - Triple J Unearthed
