Izzy Losi and the Auracles

Izzy Losi grew up gracing stages and festivals in her hometown of Geelong and often spent Friday Nights after school in the coastal town of Anglesea honing her craft. As a teen she supported Husky at her local 'Beav's Bar' and Mia Dyson at the iconic Courthouse Theatre. She has collaborated with international musicians such as Irish cellist Vyvienne Long (Damien Rice) who features on her current EP 'The Only Constant is Change' which single Change reached #1 on triple j unearthed in April 2017. More recently Izzy has supported Iconic Australian bands such as Thirsty Merc. Izzy has finally developed the confidence, musical maturity and back catalogue to discard the safety net and throw everything into performing and has made the move to Melbourne to collaborate, perform and take the next step of her career. Described as “one of the most powerful voices I have heard in a long time, rich and complex” by Happy Mag, Izzy’s piano-driven performances adeptly switch between raw musical energy and sweet melodic moments. Whether she is delivering the foot-stomping rhythm of “Change” or the atmospheric expanse of “Black Dots” with her band, or a stripped-back solo gig with emotional and poignant songs about loneliness and depression, Izzy is an artist that begs to be heard live.
