A young, Australian born Sikh who has been producing music since 2013. He's been growing as an artist; starting off as a house producer, now producing music from various genres. Within the past two years Blackcurrant had developed his sound to incorporate a variety of styles. Allowing him to perform in any situation. Very few samples are used in his tracks, with almost every melody being written by himself. His use of a the four chord progression technique is adapted to include variations of standard chords as well as the occasional increase in chords used. His songs have been entered into several competitions, to no avail but he continues to produce music, getting better each and every time. His influences range from KSHMR and his epic melodies to the big room feel of Borgeous. Everyday is a new experience and possible influences for his music, which greatly effect the music he produces. In 2016 a mixtape was made inspired by his classmates, with each track being crafted to reflect who they were and was named after them. This was a huge milestone in having him create songs of several genres. In 2018, he was shortlisted in UniSounds 2018, with the goal of reaching the finals in 2019. For the future, the Blackcurrant has many plans to bring his name about to the world. Music will always be produced by him as it is what he loves to do.
